As part of Children's Mental Health Week 2023, we welcomed Martin to our school. He taught us a little about the country he came from - Ghana - and lots about drumming!
The focus was on working together to be musicians in a large group, listening, looking and concentrating on making beautiful rhythms.
He also wanted to share that making music helps us to have fun, and when we have fun - we smile! Smiling is also fun - so we can feel good by smiling, and by making music, and by having fun!!
School certainly pulsated to fantastic rhythms! A great way to end the half term. Thank you Martin!
